Job Description

The successful candidate will teach courses and help strengthen the curriculum in multimedia reporting and editing, web design and content management, online journalism and visual communication.  Responsibilities include teach Web Design, multimedia labs required for all first-yaer SJMC students, and other core and major classes, depending on ability and interest.  The typcial teaching load is three courses each semester.  Facutly responsibilities include academic and career advising, service to SJMC and the University, and scholarship/creative activity.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline required, advanced degree preferred. Substantial professional experience is required and may include a mix of the following: online journalism, Web page design, content management, social media, digital video and audio production, digital photography, and broadcast or print reporting.  Teaching experience preferred.  Apllicants must be proficient with industry standard platforms.
