Our community-based programs are designed to support and strengthen families, enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities, create stronger communities, and reduce system-wide health care costs.   Reports to:      Director of Events                          Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist with logistics for all events – vendors, staffing, show flow, etc. Ability to perform several tasks concurrently, manage time, organize work load, and work cohesively as a member of the staff team Ensures strong logistical coordination for assigned events Creates, prepares, and distributes meeting minutes and supporting documents. Handle administrative items – calendar management, correspondence and other documentation, vendor check requests, etc. Interface with Communication & Marketing as needed – event websites & social media, logos, printed materials, etc. Ensure the confidentiality and security of all donor information Perform all other responsibilities and projects as assigned by immediate supervisor and senior management. Heavy committee contact, coordination & management – help to set committee meetings, prospect list management, follow-up/check-in calls, etc. Maintain a basic understanding of Easter Seals’ mission and programs                     Event Specific Duties o   Bright Stars Night at the Circus Manage event ticketing process from start to finish including creating system to organize, track and distribute over 5000 tickets Oversee the planning of the pre-event VIP reception including guest lists, food service arrangements, menu planning, decor and table set up, nametags and staffing Maintain accurate and complete records for all sponsorships and ticket sales. Other event duties as assigned o   Advocacy Awards Dinner Work with Director of Events to organize Fall Kickoff Reception Oversee all aspects of registration including but not limited to securing sponsors’ guest lists, assisting with table assignments and creating name tags Recruit, assign, train, and supervise all event volunteers Other event duties as assigned   Experience and Skill Requirements Two or four-year degree or equivalent education/experience required Two or more years’ experience in fundraising, special events, volunteer management and/or marketing required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software desired Strong customer service skills and ability to influence others Must be highly organized and detail oriented Friendly disposition and ability to maintain a positive attitude   We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
