| This is an important role that will help improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the company while providing key insights. The position ensures the highest level of integrity for the group’s financial statements and processes.|
Responsibilities include understanding the business and developing/maintaining relevant performance metrics, schedules and reports/analysis; auditing processes such as accounts payable, revenue allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, new supplier establishment, etc; supporting the business by ensuring that the management team has all the financial information and analysis they need to grow the business; developing and generate regular and ad hoc reports based on financial and operation data; reviewing and analyzing monthly financial and operational achievements against business and program objectives; assist in the analysis of financial data; interpret data for the purpose of determine past financial performance and/or project a financial probability; performing statistical, cost and financial analysis of data reported on various financial systems; act as the liaison with other departments to represent the finance department and certify finance objectives are maintained.
The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experiences in accounting/finance. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or Business Administration is preferred and a CPA required. Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required and knowledge of Peoplesoft accounting software is a plus. Candidate must have strong quantitative and analytical skills with high standards of excellence and attention to detail; good problem solving, critical thinking and process improvement skills, strong written and oral communication skills; and possess initiative and independent judgment.
